An Indianapolis man faces charges of causing a deadly crash while intoxicated and then leaving the scene.
More than a year after the crash, a grand jury indicted Bradley Woods on 21 charges, including failure to remain at the scene of an accident resulting in death or serious bodily injury, OWI causing death or serious bodily injury, reckless homicide and criminal recklessness. Twelve of the counts are felonies.
Avery May, 20, was killed on Dec. 23, 2023, when the Honda Accord he was driving collided head-on with a large pickup truck on Southport Road, near Little Oak Lane on the southeast side of Indianapolis. May’s girlfriend, Rylee White, suffered serious injuries.
