Description
An Avon chiropractor will plead guilty to multiple counts of sexual battery of women during office visits, according to a plea agreement.
The plea agreement says Roc Byrd will plead guilty to the four counts of sexual battery, which are all felonies, and all other counts will be dismissed. The agreement says no jail time will be imposed and that Byrd will also be required to register as a sex offender for 10 years.
Byrd informed the state and the court that he will not seek reinstatement of his chiropractor's license, according to the plea agreement.
Byrd was first charged with rape in September 2023, when a woman said he touched her inappropriately during an appointment at Cornerstone Chiropractic in 2022. The woman told investigators she asked Byrd to stop after she realized what was happening but, she said, he did not.
