Description
Although "Yellowstone" has concluded its five-season run, one of its prequel series is returning with a new season.
Oscar winner Helen Mirren ("The Queen," "Prime Suspect") and Oscar nominee Harrison Ford ("Witness," "Star Wars") co-star in "1923," following a generation of the Dutton family during Prohibition and the Great Depression.
In the second season, Spencer Dutton (Brandon Sklenar) is journeying back home to Montana to save his family during a cruel winter, while his wife, Alexandra (Julia Schlaepfer) sets off on her own journey back to him after being separated in the first season's finale.
"A lot of it was really natural," said Schlaepfer ("The Politician") on her chemistry with Sklenar. "We were in Africa together for four months, just the two of us, and so you get really close with people really quick when when that sort of thing happens, so we had each other to rely on."
New episodes of "1923" are released Sundays on Paramount+.
