In "You're Cordially Invited," two weddings are accidentally booked on the same day at the same destination venue, creating a rivalry between the father (Will Ferrell) of one bride (Geraldine Viswanathan) and the sister (Reese Witherspoon) of the other bride (Meredith Hagner). An Oscar winner and nominee for dramatic performances in "Walk the Line" and "Wild," respectively, Witherspoon also has Golden Globe nominations for her comedic roles in "Legally Blonde" and "Election." "I just love her. We got along like gangbusters from the second we met," said Hagner ("Vacation Friends," "Bad Monkey") on working with Witherspoon. "It was so fun and easy, and she's such a kind person, in addition to being brilliant in everything that she does."
