Description
A plea agreement has been reached for a Houston, Texas man involved in a deadly crash on Massachusetts Avenue in Indianapolis that killed a military veteran in March 2024.
Salvador Banales, 28, agreed to plead guilty two counts of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in serious bodily injury, catastrophic injury, or death to another person.
As part of the plea agreement, the prosecution will dismiss the following charges: one count of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death or catastrophic injury, one count of causing catastrophic injury when operating a vehicle while intoxicated, one count of causing serious bodily injury when operating a vehicle while intoxicated, two counts of leaving the scene of an accident and one count of false informing.
