A man is dead after a fire in Mooresville early Saturday morning. The Mooresville Metropolitan Police Department, along with the Mooresville and Brown Township Fire Departments, responded to a report of a woods fire just after 1:30 a.m. on Feb. 1 at the State Road 42 bridge, near White Lick Creek, at what appeared to be a homeless encampment.
