On Monday, Jan. 13, 13News spoke to neighbors near 35th Street and Fall Creek Parkway. They said their side street was never plowed.
“It feels like nobody really cares about you out here. It's crazy,” Tim Connelly said. “The frustration grows because we pay property taxes, and it isn’t cheap."
Over the last week, he has helped several drivers get through his neighborhood. Now, his road has turned into a sheet of ice.
“We have elderly people living here and people who can’t help themselves. Also, a lot of people who work and can’t get out because of the lack of attention to these roads,” Connelly said. “The damage is done but in the future, the city has to really rethink these policies. Give us some relief on these streets.”
