Indianapolis is still digging itself out after getting more snow than we've seen from a storm in years. While many decided to hunker down at home Monday, Anderson York decided to volunteer his services.
"I have the ability to come out and shovel snow, so I'm going to keep doing that as much as I can," York said.
On Sunday, Jan. 5, York took to Facebook asking if anyone needed help shoveling or knew of anyone who needed some assistance clearing their driveway or a path to their front door.
"So, I've had about six requests, whether it be directly from people in need. I also put on there, if you have a friend that is too stubborn to ask, shoot me a message and I'll show up, shovel their snow and then runaway without ever being seen. I did get caught at the last one though, so I had to say what I was doing," York said.
The services are free of charge.
