A 9-year-old Fort Wayne boy is in critical condition after falling through thin ice. According to a release from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 22, the Allen County Sheriff's Department received a call about a child who had fell through thin ice in the 1100 block of Mayrock Drive, which is north of State Road 14 and just west of Fort Wayne city limits.
