Description
On Tuesday, Dec. 10, Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett and the Indianapolis Department of Public Works announced a new round of applications for the Community Powered Infrastructure (CPI) program.
Since 2018, the program has issued $8 million in matching funds to neighborhoods, which equals nearly $16 million worth of construction projects across the city.
One of the groups to benefit is The Oaks Academy Middle School, near 16th Street and College Avenue.
They received new sidewalks and curbs after submitting applications to the program a few years ago.
