A murder mystery, psychological thriller limited series is one of the must-see TV shows of the summer. "Lady in the Lake" stars Oscar winner Natalie Portman ("Black Swan," "Jackie") as Maddie Schwartz, a Jewish housewife who leaves her husband and wants to reinvent herself as an investigative journalist. At the same time, Emmy nominee Moses Ingram ("The Queen's Gambit," "Obi-Wan Kenobi") portrays Cleo Sherwood, a mother struggling to provide for her family. Schwartz quickly becomes obsessed with solving two separate killings: an 11-year-old girl and then Sherwood. Also in supporting roles are actors Y'lan Noel, Byron Bowers and Josiah Cross.
