Description
Iconic films like "Goodfellas," "The Departed," "Taxi Driver," "Casino" and "The Wolf of Wall Street" all have one thing in common: Martin Scorsese.
Filmmaker Rebecca Miller ("She Came to Me," "Maggie's Plan") is giving audiences a behind-the-scenes look at Scorsese's storied career in a five-part documentary event called "Mr. Scorsese."
"I had a feeling that I might do a good job, so I called his producer. I offered up my services, if they weren't already making a big movie about him. She said there were a lot of people who wanted the job, but she had a feeling that this might be a good combination," Miller said. "They told me to write a letter. I wrote a letter, and I got to meet with him, and that's how I got the job."
"Mr. Scorsese" is released Friday, Oct. 17 on Apple TV.
