IMPD is investigating after a man was killed in a shooting Sunday evening on Indy's east side. According to IMPD, around 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 10, officers were called to the 5900 block of Oak Avenue, which is near South Arlington Avenue, on a report of a person shot. When officers arrived on scene, they found an adult male who had been shot. Police said the man was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition, but was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
