Niger's life saving peanut paste A life-saving peanut paste, first trialled during a famine in Niger ten years ago, is being used to feed many of those displaced by recent Boko Haram attacks. Plumpy'Nut was invented by a French paediatrician and includes skimmed milk powder, sugar, vegetable fat and vitamins and minerals.
