Making the Nobel medals, an exercice of minutia Svenska Medajl, located about 100 kilometres from the Swedish capital, has been producing since 2012 the Nobel Prize medals awarded during a ceremony on December 10 at Stockholm's city hall, in honour of the death of Alfred Nobel. For seven years, Niklas Qvarnström has been the only craftsman in Sweden to work on Nobel medals, made of 18-carat green gold and worth €7,000.
