The director general of the Congolese Institute for Nature Conservation (ICCN) Dr. Cosma Wilungula welcomes UNESCO's decision to remove the Salonga National Park, the largest in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), from the list of World Heritage in Danger. In a press briefing in Kinshasa, Wilungula says "With the support of three hundred members of our armed forces who came to the aid of park guards to clean up poaching in this park."
