Description

A former London financier, Anthony Bolton, has composed an opera on the life of the ex Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko who died after being poisoned with tea laced with radioactive polonium-210 in 2006. His killer, believed to be a former KGB spy, has never been brought to justice. Litvinenko's widow Marina Litvinenko hopes the opera will help keep the memory of her husband alive.
