The Bourguiba avenue in downtown Tunis empties as police cars patrol, asking people to leave on the second night of an extended curfew in the Tunisian capital. The North African country's political landscape has been shaken after President Kais Saied dismissed several ministers including Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi and ordered parliament to close for 30 days, a move the biggest political party Ennahdha decried as a "coup".
