Hundreds of residents in the Philippine capital Manila receive government cash aid to ease the economic pain caused by the latest coronavirus lockdown.
Among those who waited in line is 77-year-old Jesus Gomez, whose earning as a tricycle driver was halved by the series of stay-at-home orders since last year.
Gomez said the 1,000-peso aid ($20) he received will be used to buy a cooking gas, just among the necessities he struggled to buy during the pandemic. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
