It was a Chinese New Year celebration sponsored the San Diego Chinese Center. Kathy Chin reported on all the festivities.
News 8 anchor Judy Hsu emceed the event and told the crowd about snake people. Judy immigrated to Chicago from Taiwan when she was 11 years old. She left News 8 in 2001 to return to Chicago to anchor for ABC 7. She worked as a reporter and anchor for News 8 from 1994-2001.
