August 17, 1965 Preparations underway in the Palm Room of the Grant Hotel...TV 8 is hosting about two hundred civic and business leaders and with the aid of four motion picture projectors and seven projection screens will present filmed previews of the CBS fall program. TV 8 personalities acted as hosts--Bob Mills, Mel Knoepp, Sue White. CBS begins its Fall program September 12th with emphasis on color--among the color shows, Lassie, Ed Sullivan, Gilligan's Island, Red Skelton, Dann Kae and a host of others.
