The Paris Opera is adapting Stendhal's "Le Rouge et le Noir" (The Red and The Black) with a premiere on Saturday at the Palais Garnier. Signed by choreographer Pierre Lacotte, it is one of the biggest productions in the Opera Ballet's repertoire and the most eagerly awaited choreographic work of the new season, after two seasons wrecked by historic strikes and Covid lockdowns.
