Three French climbers carried away by an avalanche while mountaineering in Nepal were "extremely well prepared and well armed" for the opening of a gully (ice trail) on the west face of the Mingbo Eiger (6,017m), a still unexplored summit, Damien Tomasi, a coach at the Groupe Excellence Alpinisme Nationale (GEAN), tells AFP in an interview.
