At the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, NASA is readying its upcoming 'Artemis' missions to the moon. A giant new rocket standing 98 metres tall will carry the Orion craft into space. NASA is aiming to launch the first (uncrewed) mission, Artemis 1, in February next year, with Artemis 2 and 3 scheduled for 2023 and 2024. 50 years since the Apollo landings, NASA also hopes to land the first woman and person of colour on the moon.
