Description
The search for Colombia's some 120,000 disappeared people continues, five years after the peace accords that saw the FARC guerrilla group lay down arms to officially end a devastating, near six-decade conflict. The peace deal gave birth to the Unit for the Search for Missing Persons (UBPD). For 20 years, this state entity will have the mission of locating the victims, mostly civilians, of the war between paramilitaries, guerrillas, drug traffickers and state agents. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
