Italian scholar and physicist Giorgio Parisi receives the 2021 Nobel Prize in Physics from Swedish Ambassador to Italy Jan Björklund during a ceremony at Sapienza University of Rome. Parisi was awarded the Nobel Physics Prize in October 2021 for climate models and the understanding of physical systems, together with the US-Japanese scientist Syukuro Manabe, and the German scientist Klaus Hasselmann.
