Description
The leader of Portugal's right-wing opposition, Rui Rio, closes the 39th congress of his party, the Social Democratic Party (PSD), and launches his campaign for the next legislative elections to be held in late January. The elections, which would normally have been held in the autumn of 2023, will be the third national elections that Portugal has held in the space of a year, after the presidential elections last January and the municipal elections at the end of September.
