Bar and restaurant owners operating out of Bangkok's nightlife street of Charoenkrung set up antigen test kit spots for customers and bar staff amid an emerging Omicron outbreak. Customers and staff must present proof of two doses of vaccinations or opt for an antigen test before being allowed to enter the premises. Separately, Khaosan Road, Bangkok's famous nightlife venue, also features RT-PCR testing spot for its workers.
The Omicron variant was first detected in Thailand back on December 6. The virus has since spread to 55 provinces across the country with 2,338 cases reported. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
