Description
Displaced people share details of their conditions after the 23 March rebel movement, M23, resurfaces in the territory of Rutshuru in North Kivu in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Their clashes with the Congolese army have caused the flight of more than 8,000 households, residents of 6 villages in the Rugari grouping, which have fallen under the control of the rebels. Despite a lull in fighting, the Rugari area is still almost empty, with some residents having fled to neighbouring entities. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
