Actor/Activist Ed Asner was in San Diego in August 1973. He told News 8's Harold Keen that he was here to enjoy San Diego weather and help register and inform voters. "Viewpoints and biases don't mean a thing--these are honest and legitimate endeavors I'm here for," Asner said. "When an actor speaks his mind, I hope somebody's around to challenge him on what his mind is."
