In Cologne, home to Germany's largest and most famous carnival, revellers turned the traditional parade into a march for peace in solidarity with Ukraine. Many marchers swap traditional costumes for costumes in the colours of the Ukraine flag whilst holding signs denouncing Russia's President Vladimir Putin, comparing him to Adolf Hitler. IMAGES
