In a new report, the UN trade, investment and development agency (UNCTAD) warns that the conflict raging in Ukraine is causing a global economic slowdown that is hitting developing countries the hardest. UNCTAD chief Rebeca Grynspan demands a coordinated international response to help poorer countries weather the crisis, stressing to journalists that "it is very important to put together mechanisms for the liquidity problem that the countries will face".
