Several hundred protesters gather outside the Home Office to demonstrate against the UK government’s policy of deporting asylum seekers to Rwanda, after a last-gasp legal bid to stop the flights failed. The first flight is due to take off for Kigali on the evening of June 14, with the policy intended to deter migrants from crossing the English Channel from France in small boats.
