Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has called for intensified efforts to save 10 workers trapped in a flooded coal mine, Coahuilia Governor Miguel Angel Riquelme Solis told reporters, as the president visited the site in Agujita to see the rescue operation. "He (the president) thanked them and asked them to redouble their efforts to be able to find the miners alive, just as I did, we stressed that time is short and that we need to do what is necessary," said Riquelme.
