Description
Crew on the Arctic Sunrise, a Greenpeace ship, dropped 18 large rocks into the sea nearly 200 kilometres off of the Cornish coast on Thursday. The action is part of a campaign calling on the government to ban bottom trawling, a method of fishing involving dragging heavily-weighted nets across the sea floor, in all UK marine protected areas, and to meet its commitments to protect 30% of the ocean by 2030.
