Revellers participate in the traditional religious festival of the Reinado of Our Lady of the Rosary, St. Efigenia and St. Benedict, through the historic streets of Ouro Preto, Brazil. Through singing, dancing and drumming, the festival honours Chico Rei, a slave brought from Africa who bought his freedom and that of other slaves to become part of the Brazilian folklore.
