Indonesia's Lunar New Year festival Chap Go Meh returns after a three-year pandemic pause. Participants known as tatung, temple members possessed by holy or ancestral spirits, dress as warriors and perform for the returning crowds. The colourful ritual in the western Borneo city of Singkawang marks the 15th day of the Lunar New Year calendar when the minority ethnic Chinese community in the world's fourth most populous country gather to drive away evil spirits.
