Flowers painted red, with delicately detailed white stars and crescents, replicating the Turkish flag, were the stars of Taiwan's largest orchid show as it kicks off. The orchids will be sold at the show in southern Tainan city to raise money for survivors of the recent devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria, which killed more than 50,000 people.
