A UN Security Council delegation arrives in Goma, in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, where fighting is raging between the Congolese army and M23 rebels. The French representative to the UN says "it is not the United Nations that will solve the problem alone", while the head of MONUSCO adds that 2022 was the "second deadliest year in the history of the UN system in the Democratic Republic of Congo".
