Description
The trial of the Rue Copernic attack on a Paris synagogue, which killed four people and injured dozens on 3 October 1980, opens in Paris 43 years after the events and in the absence of the sole defendant. "It's good that the trial is taking place," says Corinne Adler, 13 at the time of the events, as she arrives at the opening of the trial. For her, "the challenge" of the trial is to "find out who is responsible" and to "understand what happened." IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
