Human Rights Watch (HRW) and Amnesty International say Kenyan police were involved in 12 deaths during three days of anti-government protests in March. "The police in Kenya, when dealing with protests, do so with complete and utter impunity" says a researcher at Human Rights Watch. One grandmother of a child injured in the clashes with police gives testimony describing her experience "two children came to me, saying "Lewis' grandmother, you are being called at the hospital", she recalls.
