In her latest creation, "Black Lights", French choreographer Mathilde Monnier tackles the physical trauma of violence against women, which has become a fact of society, and examines the idea that "you are not a victim all your life, and how you can emerge different and resilient". After its premiere on 22 June as part of the Montpellier Danse festival, the play will be performed at the Avignon festival from 20 to 24 July, then in Vienna, before embarking on a French tour via Paris, followed by an international tour.
