Description
Hundreds take to the streets in Gaborone, Botswana, to demonstrate against homosexuality and deliver a petition to members of parliament opposing legislation seeking to make same-sex relations legal. Backed by the religious groups, the demonstrators march across the city centre to voice their opposition to a bill that aims to comply with a 2019 court ruling in favour of LGBTQ rights in the country. "Those are the dictates" says Wynter Mmolotsi, an MP opposing the legislation, "they are dictating to us what God dictated to us." IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
