Description
The Armenian diaspora from several European countries gathers in Brussels to protest against Azerbaijan's offensive in Nagorno-Karabakh. Armenian separatists, who have controlled Nagorno-Karabakh for three decades, surrendered and agreed to lay down their arms last week, following a lightning offensive by Azerbaijan. A UN mission arrived in the area for the first time in three decades on Sunday, Azerbaijan announced, while the majority of the local Armenian population left the enclave after it was taken over by Baku for fear of reprisals.
