The trial of the September 28, 2009 massacre in Guinea, which opened on the anniversary date in 2022, resumes after a judicial recess. Guinea's former dictator Moussa Dadis Camara and 10 other former military and government officials are accused over the massacre of 156 people and the rape of at least 109 women, carried out by security forces loyal to the then-junta leaders.
