Demonstrators gather outside the Israeli embassy in Athens to protest against military action in Gaza after a surprise attack by Hamas sparked a fresh outbreak of violence in the region. "They are hitting children, the elderly, hospitals, schools and offices" says Naim El-Ghandour, who heads the Muslim Association in Greece. On Saturday, Hamas militants attacked a number of Israeli settlements, firing at civilians and taking around 150 hostages.
