A Russian independent politician was summoned to the local prosecutor's office after declaring her intention to run in next year's presidential elections. After saying she will try to stand in the 2024 vote and criticising the current regime, Ekaterina Duntsova, 40, was called into the prosecutor's office in Rzhev, a town 200 kilometres west of Moscow for questioning.
