Description
Hosting the "Grain from Ukraine" summit in Kyiv, a humanitarian food program, and speaking after Russia launched a record 75 drones overnight, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says "Russia's aggression in the Black Sea has created the greatest threat to global stability in terms of food supplies in decades." Speaking alongside Switzerland's President Alain Berset, President of Latvia Edgars Rinkevics and Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Simonyte, he adds that "using hunger as a weapon is an element of the policy of genocide".
Kyiv has set up a new corridor in the Black Sea since Moscow pulled out of the UN-brokered grain deal in July, but it continues to operate under risk. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
