Retired Belgian priest Rik Devillé has devoted his post-clergy life to listening to and supporting the victims of sexual abuse within the Church. In 1992, he published a vitriolic book on the Vatican's power structure, entitled "The Last Dictatorship", and soon found himself cut off from the Catholic Church and becoming the recipient of new victim testimonies. "I've kind of lost faith in the leaders of the Catholic Church in our country. I no longer believe they will do anything to change things." he tells AFP from his home in Galmaardan.
