Description
A hundred people ride horses from the outskirts of Modiin towards Jerusalem to call for the release of Israeli hostage Idan Shtivi, 28, who was kidnapped during the October 7 attack in Re'im. Riding horses is a hobby shared by Idan and his father, Eli Shtivi, who leads the ride. "We have to combine our fight together with the release of the kidnapped people" says Ilan Traitel, one of those participating in the ride, "so it's quite complicated". The ride comes after a week-long truce between Israel and Hamas enabled the release of 80 hostages being held in Gaza in exchange for 240 Palestinian prisoners. The Israeli army says 137 hostages are still being held. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
